After your initial consultation, your dermal therapist will cleanse and prepare your skin for your skin-needling treatment. Your micro-needling facial will be finished within a few minutes and is generally well tolerated and not considered painful. Your skin may feel tight and warm immediately after the treatment. We do not use numbing cream, as it may interfere with the desired response in your skin.

However, micro-needling is an intensive treatment and may cause some discomfort. Your skin may be sensitive for a few hours after your treatment, and you may be slightly red - the redness is similar to a mild sunburn and usually subsides within a few hours. During the skin healing process, you may experience minor itching, hives, flaking, and redness. An antihistamine tablet can be taken for hives or itching. (Check with your pharmacist if you are safe to do so.)
